that is exactly what these beautiful people did on May 17, 2013. It is a day we will forever remember. a group of college students and friends decided to use their God given talents (which are ah-mazing) to help bring Amos home! they put together and performed a benefit concert and helped us raise $2016 for our adoption. Kameron Mitchell was the mastermind that orchestrated everything...performers, the chalkboard art silent auction, table sales, baked cupcakes + cookies that the students made. It was beautiful and God honoring. truly a night we will never forget! since words cannot begin to describe the evening, enjoy the story in pictures!
ALL the performers were incredible!!! It was such a treat to listen! They performed songs by the Civil Wars, the Lumineers, Kimbra, Marc Broussard, Shane & Shane, All Sons & Daughters, etc. Tanner and I are astounded by the immeasurable amount of love and support that we have received from so many people. It was a shower of blessing and an outpouring of God’s love through his children on his children for a child. We cannot say thank you enough. So to all of you who performed: Carrie Webster, Chelsea Mobley, Katie Jones, Chase Beakley, Abby Shelton, Kacee Crone, Garrison Wash, Laurlyn Wash, Carson Brown, Desmond Reeves, Jesse Gore, Kameron Mitchell, Paul Eaton, Savannah Young, and Ryan Holguin – THANK YOU for giving of yourself and your time to help us. AND to all the un-pictured who helped behind the scenes to make the night a success: Austin Holcomb, Justin Holcomb, my Mom – Karen Bell, Corry Squiers, Hailee Elliott, Erin Brady, Nicole Scott, Kim Pharaoh, Lauryn Ashburn, Kaitlin Melton, and Austin Pradon (photo creds) – THANK YOU for setting up, tearing down, being present, collecting money, serving drinks, making drinks, giving instruction, and whatever else you did! One day we will share these pictures and this story of love with Amos. I can’t wait for him to meet the many people that are a part of his story! How incredibly thankful we are!
